Ingredients : Small pieces of boneless chicken, salt, turmeric, chilly poweder, pepper, corn flour, gram flour(besan), tomato ketchup, refined or sunflower oil, coriander leaves and onion (optional).

Preparation Time : 15 mins

  • Cut the chicken into very small pieces and wash it thoroughly.
  • Add some salt, turmeric, chilly powder, pepper and mix them with the cut out chicken pieces.
  • Mix well and store in tn the fridge for 3-4 hours.
  • Put the chicken masala mix out of the fridge and put some cornflour and “besan” in 2:1 proportion. Add one small teaspoonful of tomato ketchup and mix everything.
  • The chicken pieces should have a layer a cornflour and besan coating after the mix.
  • Take a frying pan and pour in some refined oil.
  • After the pan is hot put the chicken pieces one after the other till it gets a golden brown color.
  • Put the chicken out of the pan in a kitchen tissue paper so that the excess oil gets soaked.
  • Serve it hot with Mayonnaise and Ketchup.
  • Coriander leaves and finely chopped onions can be used as a supplement to the dish.( Indians specially love this part with any snack.)
